Last night we went into Chinatown to attend a dinner celebrating the Chinese New Year with some friends. That afternoon they had taken Malia to Chinatown to get a new traditional dress. The dinner was so fun! There was lots of entertainment including acrobats, chinese dragons, and stamping the bubble wrap (to replicate the sound of fireworks!) As if that wasn't exciting enough, Malia won two large prizes in the raffle! It was a wonderful night! There are a few additional pics here:
