Lexicon "Time Freeze" Commercial

Last night Malia did a shoot for national spanish language commercial for an insurance broker, Seguros Sin Barreras. It was a long night, but it's the first time Malia got to have fake blood put on her, and she'll get to see what it's like to shoot something and see what the end result looks like after special effects are added. There will eventually be fire, maybe rain, and sparks added from the saw that is cutting them out of their crashed car! Here's more pics:

Taste of Summer

Well, we're well into summer by now, but things have been so busy that it's only now that we're starting to feel summer-ish! We had a very quiet 4th of July...but it's been nice to just enjoy some slow time! One of the things we've been trying to do each week is go to the farmer's market. Now that it's hot out, Malia counts on getting a nice cold snow cone! (This past week she opted to also get some face painting by the crazy face paint lady...)
